Ingredients
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 4 eggs
- 300 g sugar
- 150 g dark chocolate
- 150 g butter
- 100 g white chocolate chips or chopped walnuts
Directions
- Prepare the chocolate mixture:
In a bain-marie, melt the dark chocolate and butter together. Set aside to cool slightly. - Whip the eggs and sugar:
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together for 10 minutes. - Combine:
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring until well combined. - Add dry ingredients:
Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold the dry ingredients in with a spatula until just incorporated. - Add texture:
Stir in the white chocolate chips or walnuts. - Bake:
Pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking pan. Bake at 180°C (~355°F) for about 20 minutes. - Cool and serve:
Allow to cool in the pan before slicing. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
